Restored in a very good condition. The house is stunning, even if the history doesn't interest you.

It is a beautiful place right in the middle of Bangkok. It was very enjoyable to visit the gardens and houses with an English-speaking guide. Beautiful decoration and objects. (

A small green oasis located in the heart of Bangkok. It was a wonderful tour. We learned so much about Jim Thompson's history and silk production. Beautiful and informative, the house and its furnishings are stunning. If you aren t staying in Bangkok for more than a few days, I recommend visiting the Jim Thompson House.

The house itself is very interesting but the place has turned into more of a retail store than a museum. If you do want to visit, be sure to allot a couple hours. It is required that tours go with a guide and each last nearly an hour. When we arrived the next tour available was in 45 minutes.

Bangkok Experience wouldn t be complete without seeing Jim Thompson House. One has to see it to appreciate his work!

If you have extra time in Bangkok it is nice to visit Mr. Jim old house . They offer tours in multiple languages (English, French, Korean, Japanese...) The museum includes his place & his private collection. The museum attached to small boutique coffee shop & restaurant.

jim thompson is one of the pioneer legendary who came to live in thailand and see and seize the business opportunity in Thai silk trade. You can know more about him and buy some of his Thai silk products here and enjoy abd relax, abd eat some yummy foods in their restaurants

Good and SMALL exhibition for th same price as national museum. Without a guide who said unneccessary facts i would look through all the artifacts in like 10 minutes. One times deal.

It is a beautiful setting. I love walking and admiring the architectures of the landscape more than visiting the museums.

This was a fascinating place to visit. I think it's a nice place, but Thai national sightseeings is even more impressive. There is a lot to see and elements of traditional Thai architecture. The guide tour is not too crowded.

The museum is dedicated to Jim Thompson's story and silk. You can see how silk is made, how it arrives and how products are produced. It is a pleasant place that is sometimes crowded.
