Infinity Addict Circuit (IAC)
Experience the thrill of RC racing at Infinity Addict Circuit (IAC) in Bangkok, Thailand! Formerly known as RC Addict, this renowned international RC track, established in 2009 by RC Addict shop owner Pumin Songpaiboon, is conveniently located near shopping centers, restaurants, and hotels.
Location and Accessibility
Easily accessible from Suvarnabhumi Airport (30-minute drive) via expressway, IAC boasts a world-class 230-meter asphaltic concrete track (4-6 meters wide), perfect for 1/8, 1/10, and 1/12 scale vehicles using electric, gas, and nitro power.
Facilities
The circuit features top-notch facilities including a driver's stand, permanent pit area, LED track lighting, VIP rooms, meeting rooms, a press room, lockers, a cafeteria, and four RC shops. Hotels and serviced apartments are within walking distance, and numerous restaurants and entertainment options are nearby, including Southern Thai, Thai seafood, pubs, and The Corner Night Market. Shopping is a breeze with Central Festival Eastville, Crystal Park Shopping Center, CDC, and Lotus all within a 2km radius.
Major Events and Improvements
IAC is famous for hosting the TITC (Thailand International Touring Car Championship), Asia's largest electric touring event, multiple times, including in 2017 (its sixth time). It also hosted the 2012 200mm Nitro Worlds. Legendary racer Atsushi Hara even has a workshop at the track, within the headquarters of the RIDE tire brand. After the 2017 TITC, the track underwent a major resurfacing project supported by Infinity, resulting in a significantly improved driving experience. The resurfacing, with input from renowned racers like Atsushi Hara, Meen Vejrak, and Andy Moore, reduced island size to maximize track surface. The new asphalt received rave reviews for its enhanced surface.
Track Dimensions and Amenities
The track's dimensions are 55m wide and 27m deep, offering ample outdoor space alongside its excellent facilities, including a shop, toilets, an air compressor, and food facilities.
