First time, wow! 500 to 300 baths per person depending on whether the boat is powered by an engine or rower. However, the price is subjective. It depends on if you are a professional and can negotiate. There are many souvenir shops around. It is a popular place to shop and also a great spot for eating.

This price is much higher than the maeklong rail market. Maeklong is much more affordable for souvenirs. You can get coconut ice-cream for only 50 baht. Sticky rice (colourful sticky Rice) is available at 60 baht. You can also get a sketch drawing here for 150 baht.

Although not a tourist attraction, it is overcrowded. Many chinese tourists. It's not worth the effort.

Scammers are everywhere! A private vehicle was hired from Bangkok to take us directly to the private pier. There, you can purchase a boat ride at 3000 or 5000baht depending upon what stops you choose. Although they will tell you there's no other entry to the market, we researched beforehand and found that tickets for the public pier are much cheape... see more

) The scenery is wonderful, a pity about the motor boats that spoil that magic of rowing boats a bit. There is only one reason for a star beware of scams. Forget the tuk tuks or taxis. You can only get here through an agency or by taxi that doesn t play smart by taking you directly to the pedestrian part of the market. Be careful because they assu... see more

) This is a place I went to after applying for a half day tour through Monkey Travel. It s about an hour and a half from Bangkok, and it s Sunday, so it s relatively quiet, so it s nice to see it. When you buy something, you must make a purchase with 60 or more. 2500 baht elephant sculpture purchased for 1000 baht. It s like anything else (

) A big scam! Boat costs a lot of money. You will only be taken there by taxi for very little money. Taxi driver gets angry and yells if you don t want to go to the market. Gets very funny. They advertise guns and many forms of animal cruelty there at the market. Very nice to see. Took us a lot of time (1.5 hours from bangkok). (

) You have to be careful with them, because they ask for triple the amount, while later on you get what you want cheaply. The circle tour where the vendors are was a bit short, but it has a good atmosphere (

The total cost of the ride was supposed to be 8000 per hour. One individual said 2000 baht. I was so embarrassed that I lied about the boat price for 2000.

It is beautiful to view the area, but it can be very touristy. The tour prices are 2000 baht. There isn't much to buy. In NO CASE should your frustration at Bangkok driving through traffic to visit the market.

Go out with friends on weekdays near the Y Market to order the exact same food you used to. Tom Yum noodles are 40 baht, and sticky rice is 60 baht each set. There are many fruits in this market
